The babe's name? Julian for a little English boy whose mother was calling him in a pine forest outside of Rome. She called Julian, Julian. I thought that was a wonderful name and so it came to pass that my son was so-named. Then too Julian Bond was honored. And Benjamin. No one in my family was named Benjamin or in his father's. Benjamin was in honor of Benjamin Gruenberg, the father of Ernest Gruenberg and grandfather of Nick, Ann, and Matthew. Benjamin G was an exemplar of kindness and wisdom and was a model to emulate.
